Location is beautiful, but doesn't have many level spots for tents. It has a bathroom, which is great, but you can tell it isn't emptied often. Had to buy a portable toilet for the kids. If you bring firewood, make sure it isn't from out of state.
Loved the area. Our campsite was right next to the river which was beautiful and the wildflowers in the area were at its peak! Great hiking trail. Vault bathroom was kept clean daily and supplied with toilet paper. Our camp hosts Helga and LarryDean were very freindly. Helga made the bathrooms extra special by folding the toilet paper into fancy shapes like seashells and fans. A 5-star vault toilet!
SHHHHHH!!! this place is perfect for those that want great views and quiet, bathrooms are clean, i hate to even leave a review because it may end up full every time i want to go!
The campsites are beautiful and the area of woods around them is breath taking. The camp host was very helpful and friendly. I was lucky enough to see some of the wildlife up close like bears and elk while hiking but never felt threatened by them or experienced them near our campsite. I would love to return there some day and do it all again. Highly recommended.
